PPA time is a statutory entitlement. VISTA's PPA Programme takes that challenge away completely, replacing it with something your pupils will genuinely look forward to every week.

Qualified, DBS-checked coaches
Minimum FA Level 1 or equivalent, fully DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained.
Curriculum-linked sessions
Mapped to the National Curriculum for PE — movement, teamwork, and physical literacy at KS1 and KS2.
Six sports across the year
Football, Athletics, Tag Rugby, Badminton, Cricket, and Movement ABCs, and gymnastics — rotated each term.
Full session planning
VISTA provides full session plans and end-of-term reports. No preparation required from your staff.
All equipment provided
Cones, bibs, balls, and all sport-specific equipment brought by VISTA. You just provide the space.
Indoor wet-weather plan
VISTA coaches carry an indoor activity bank for every sport — no session is ever lost to bad weather.

VISTA's PPA programme rotates across six sports throughout the academic year — giving every pupil broad physical literacy and the chance to discover the sport they love.
Football
Aut Term 1KS1 & KS2
Dribbling, passing, shooting, small-sided games. Develops coordination, spatial awareness, and teamwork.
Movement ABCs
Aut Term 2KS1 & KS2
Agility, balance & co-ordination fundamentals. Develops body control, spatial awareness, and core movement patterns. Hall-based — all weather.
Tag Rugby
Spr Term 1KS2
Tag games, passing, support play, small-sided matches. No contact — fully inclusive for all abilities.
Badminton
Spr Term 2KS1 & KS2
Racket skills, rallying, net games, cooperative play. Develops hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Athletics
Sum Term 1KS1 & KS2
Sprint technique, long jump, throwing, relay. Directly prepares pupils for school sports day.
Cricket
Sum Term 2KS2
Batting, bowling, fielding, mini cricket formats. Develops reaction time, accuracy, and concentration.

Every VISTA coach is personally selected, trained, and observed. We do not use supply coaches or agency staff — every coach who enters your school is a core member of the VISTA team.
Coaching Qualification
Minimum FA Level 1 or equivalent multi-sport coaching award.
Enhanced DBS Check
Every VISTA coach holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate, available to schools on request.
Safeguarding Training
All coaches complete NSPCC Safeguarding in Sport training, updated annually.
First Aid Certified
Every coach holds a current Paediatric First Aid certificate.

School Visit
A member of the VISTA team visits to see your facilities, meet your PE lead, and agree a timetable. No obligation, no cost.
Agreement & Documentation
We send a simple service agreement, coach DBS records, safeguarding documentation, and sample session plans.
Coach Introduction
Your named VISTA coach visits before sessions begin to meet the headteacher and complete your school induction.
Sessions Begin
VISTA delivers your first session. We ask for brief feedback at the end of the first half-term.
