Community Outreach

Activity Respite
& Outreach Support.

For VISTA, sports, recreation, and cultural activities are essential platforms for building and developing skills that facilitate young people's transitions into everyday adult life.

We provide targeted mentoring, outreach support, and guidance to children and young people from a wide range of backgrounds — including those without access to community provision — while providing carers with much-needed respite through bespoke, individualised support packages.

About Us

Our Mission

"Our mission is to inspire the communities we serve to engage in and enjoy lifelong participation in sports and recreational activities. We believe that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to thrive."

We offer a comprehensive range of community engagement programmes that utilise sports, recreational, and positive activities as tools for empowering disadvantaged and marginalised groups.

Currently operating across South London, with the aim of partnering with broader networks throughout London and the South East.

  • We remove barriers to participating in sport, recreational activities and wider society.
  • We promote health and wellbeing through an active lifestyle and lifelong involvement in sport.
  • We prioritise the enjoyment of new experiences.
  • We facilitate the building of friendships and help young people get involved in the local and wider community.
  • We make the most of learning opportunities that naturally emerge from activities to develop transferable life skills.
